Legion of Comedy is a hilarious mashup of the traditional television competition show and the new horizons of interactive social media.

The proposed Legion of Comedy App is a supplemental “People’s Choice” tool for the show, giving creators a chance to get noticed, and putting power into the hands of fans to scout and highlight new talent.

It’s our mission to create an app for creators and spectators to watch and vote on comedy videos from across the internet, and to pull creators from the app up to the majors to participate in the televised comedy competition.

Like Film Scout, the proposed app would be designed to be both fun to play and a powerful tool for harnessing the wisdom of the crowd. Think “Tik Tok meets Tinder,” where you scroll through great comedy content and vote seamlessly as part of the viewing experience.
