My Dead Friend Zoe was produced by Legion M, the first movie studio built to be owned by fans.
Why?
Because you (and all of us like you!) are the source of power in the entertainment industry. We buy the tickets, pay the subscriptions and decide what to watch. Collectively we fuel a multi-trillion dollar global industry and power some of the most valuable companies on the planet.
Legion M was founded to give YOU a voice -- and a stake -- in this industry. We're using disruptive new securities laws that allow anyone to own a piece of the company. And share in the rewards if it's successful.

SPECIAL EVENT!
Movies are meant to be seen in theaters. And EVERYTHING is better with friends. That's why Legion M is bringing this film to theaters where we can all celebrate together!
If you'd like this film booked in a theater near you, the single best thing you can do is pre-order a ticket. Then gather your all your coolest friends and have them do the same. The more tickets we pre-sell, the greater the chance we can book your theater!
To sweeten the deal, we've worked with renowned poster illustrator Paul Shipper to create a series of FREE limited-edition release pins exclusively for those who pre-buy tickets!
So gather your friends, pre-order a ticket, and grab yourself a pin (or maybe even a complete set!
And remember that a significant percentage of every ticket sold comes back to Legion M and all the shareholders who invested in the film. The more tickets we sell, the more value that accrues to Legion M and all our shareholders!
What am I buying?
You are pre-ordering tickets to see the movie in theaters Nov 11.
What theaters will show the movie?
We don't know yet - data from pre-orders will determine where the movie gets booked.
What if it's not booked near me?
If the movie isn't booked near you or, if you change your mind for any reason prior to the screening, you can get a substitution or refund.
What if my plans change?
If you change your mind for any reason prior to the screening, you can get a substitution or refund.
When will I receive my tickets?
We'll send your tickets (or a code you can redeem to get your own ticket) once the theaters are announced. We expect this to be at least 2 weeks before the screening.
When will I receive my other items?
Pins and posters are expected to ship around the screening date in November.
Can I just buy tickets at the theater?
Absolutely! But pre-buying a ticket now is the best way to ensure the movie gets booked at a theater near you, and the only way to get one of the special packages.
Do you have to be an investor in Legion M to participate?
Nope! Everyone is invited!
Why are you selling tickets this way?
Theater booking has a "chicken and the egg" problem. In order to sell tickets you need a theater. But to book a theater you need to have ticket sales.
If you are a big studio with hundreds of millions of dollars to spend on advertising, this isn't an issue. But for a special event like this one, we need to demonstrate the interest.
The number of tickets we pre-sell -- and the locations where those pre-sales occur -- will allow us to book theaters everywhere there are enough people who want to see it!
What can I do to help?
It can take as little as 25 pre-orders to book a theater. So get yourself some tickets (and maybe some for your friends) and help us spread the word!
