Legion M × Chuck Jones Gallery

Two are gone.
Here is the third.

Fine art by Ben Olson of the Chuck Jones Gallery, made exclusively for this community and released through Legion M. Fanaticus Foreverus is the third signed and numbered piece in the series, and the one Ben filled with things to find.

Fanaticus Foreverus by Ben Olson. Wile E. Coyote at his drawing table, surrounded by books, labels and tools, with the Road Runner on the shelf behind him.

Fanaticus Foreverus. Ben Olson, 2026. Signed and numbered, edition of 449.

NEW · THIRD IN THE SERIES

Fanaticus Foreverus

Wile E. Coyote at his drawing table, mid‑plan, surrounded by every idea that has ever failed him. The lamp says Just Keep Trying. The Road Runner is sitting on the shelf right behind him. He has not noticed.

Chuck Jones gave the chase a fake Latin name in almost every short. This one is for the Coyote himself. On the wall behind him is George Santayana’s definition of a fanatic, a line Chuck kept because it described his Coyote better than anything he could have written. A fanatic is someone who redoubles his effort after forgetting his aim.

Ben filled this one with references. The books, the labels, the pencils, the shelf, nearly everything in that room is pointing at something real. Most of them you will not catch on the first look, and that is the idea. The full list is now on our blog.

There are 449 of these, and that is because of you. The last one was gone in two hours. What we heard afterwards was mostly from people who wanted one and missed it. So Ben and the gallery agreed to open this edition up. More of you get to own it. And if you hold one of the first two, those editions are closed and they stay the rarest things we have made.

The Fine Art of Disregard

The joke Chuck Jones spent a career telling, held still long enough to hang on a wall. Every signed and numbered print went within hours. The edition is closed and it will not be reprinted.

Nothing to Chase But Stars

The two of them sitting on a mesa, side by side, looking up. No anvil, no rocket, no chase. It sold out by noon on Chuck Jones’s birthday. If you hold one of those, you hold one of the rarest things we have made, and that does not change.

THE ARTIST

Ben Olson

He was at our San Diego Comic-Con booth signing prints of The Fine Art of Disregard, and he drew made-to-order characters on the back of them, freehand, in pen, with no pencil underneath. He made something for everyone who stood in that line, on the spot. Then he did it again at the gallery.

Olson is a licensed Warner Bros., Disney and Hanna-Barbera fine artist and a board member of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity. His directorial debut was an animated short made with J.J. Abrams's Bad Robot and Warner Bros. for the Max series Duster, a tribute to Fast and Furry-ous.

He signs every print in these editions by hand, one at a time. There is no autopen and there is no stamp.

Ben Olson
